career spanning quantitative research, banking, corporate finance, and senior economic diplomacy trade roles.
He combines deep knowledge of Mozambique’s political economy
— particularly in extractives, energy, agriculture, infrastructure, and
development — with a proven ability to turn complex policy and technical issues
into persuasive narratives, partnerships, and reform strategies.
A former Country Director for the UK Department for Business
and Trade, Corporate Finance Director a Banco BiG, and UN International
consultant with the International Trade Centre (ITC/WTO) Geneva, Paulo brings
practical experience to help clients build trust, manage risks, and maximize
